I work mostly as a printmaker, producing monoprints and etchings in particular. Printmaking helps me to focus on the essential qualities in my subject, what made me look in the first instance. I don’t have a particular speciality, rather a series of interests that I come back to regularly, such as cityscapes, water, mountains… You can see examples of my work under the Gallery option above.

I studied with Kate Downie RSA in her studio over a period of five years and subsequently joined Edinburgh Printmakers where I continue to produce much of my work and develop my knowledge of printmaking.
